We are looking for a highly experienced leader, who is motivated by the importance of compliance in research and the provision of effective support and guidance for the University community. The Trusted Research Manager plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the University’s Strategy 2030 and its associated research strategy, particularly in terms of academic research compliance and integrity. They will be responsible for enabling cross-University compliance with established and emerging governance policies and regulatory requirements, developing and delivering a strategic and operational service to the University to ensure appropriate standards. The successful candidate will have strong project management experience, ideally gained from a research environment, or in a governance or compliance role, combined with the ability to work confidently and assertively with a range of senior stakeholders. A good working knowledge and understanding of trusted research and/or export control regulations would be an advantage.
The Trusted Research Manager will be line-managed by the Head of Research Excellence, Governance and Impact.
