Job Summary
Imperial College London has secured two years of London Shared Prosperity funding as part of the Better Futures 3.0 team led by the Greater London Authority, West London Business and Sustainable Ventures, to deliver economic growth and increase climate action in London through a range of support activities for small businesses. We are looking for a talented communications and EDI team member to help us work effectively with a range of stakeholders, promote our work to the right audiences effectively and engage with all of London’s diverse communities, innovators and citizens.
The Imperial team is led by Undaunted, Imperial’s climate innovation activity, run in partnership with the Royal Institution, and as part of the Grantham Institute.
You will provide publicity, multi-channel communication activities and event management support for the Imperial part of the project and will also work with the wider Imperial team to ensure that a wide range of London’s relevant actors are included actively in the project. As the project’s communication lead, you will pay close attention to communication with stakeholders and industrial participants to ensure that we build productive relationships with our stakeholders.
You will work together with our partners to identify the protected characteristics that we would like to address specifically through our EDI work in this project and ensure that we set out and implement a programme that makes sure our activities are open and accessible to all Londoners.
