The School of Social Work and Social Policy is an interdisciplinary group of researchers and teachers in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. We carry out teaching in areas relating to Social Work, Social Policy, Education and Social Services, Child and Youth Care Studies, and Residential Child Care. We also undertake research and knowledge exchange in a range of areas, including Children, Young People and Families; Health and Wellbeing; Citizenship and Communities; and Social and Criminal Justice.
We wish to appoint a full time and an enthusiastic Teaching Associate to contribute to the delivery of our BA programme in Education and Social Services. Candidates should have a good honours degree and PhD (or equivalent professional experience) in Social Work, Education or a related discipline and have experience of teaching in a University setting.
