About the Role
Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on a one-year EPSRC IAA and HEIF funded project (it is possible to be extended further) developing single-crystal perovskite optoelectronic devices. This project will be carried out in the research group of Dr Lei Su in the School of Engineering of Materials Science at Queen Mary University of London.
About You
Candidates with a PhD degree in Materials, Engineering, Optoelectronics, and Physics are encouraged to apply. Previous experience with any of the following: perovskite materials synthesis and characterisation, solar cells fabrication and characterisation, other optoelectronic devices (e.g., LEDs), or nonlinear optics will be an advantage.
About the School
This post is within the School of Engineering and Materials Science, a large School with strong expertise in material science and engineering, relevant to this post. This is an exciting project building on the previous achievements of the group (e.g., see references 1-3 below). The aim of this project is to develop single-crystal optoelectronic devices and to characterise the performance of the fabricated devices in the lab, as well as to explore the applications.
