Salary: Appointments are normally made at the starting salary, however comparable skills and experience will be considered. Future progression is based on annual performance review.

Job Details
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive candidate for this varied role supporting academic governance, quality activities and events.
The post-holder will be at the centre of academic governance, acting as secretary to committees within Academic Services, and supporting academic policy and quality reviews. This includes being the point of contact to ensure that document control, the intranet and website are kept up to date, liaising with regulatory bodies, and ensuring that information is stored in line with record retention schedules, and that confidentiality is maintained.
The role also involves organisation of the ICR's prestigious Inaugural Lecture series and other academic events, and the post-holder will be involved in organisation of the ICR's Annual Conference.
There is opportunity to work at all levels across the ICR and to be involved in a wide range of projects within Academic Services.
General office IT skills are required, and a willingness to learn how to use new content management systems. We adhere to the Plain English Campaign principles.

The Education Projects & Quality team works on underpinning activity in the ICR’s Education Strategy. This includes quality assurance of education, the delivery of the ICR Conference, the governance of academic committees and processes, and transformational technology projects. The role of the broader Academic Services directorate is to create an efficient and effective environment for the ICR’s scientific community to flourish. Our services underpin both research and education at the ICR.
