To build on the success of the first formulation of Soluboard Jiva is looking to design and develop the next generation of Soluboard laminate products that can be used in more complex electronics. The product will offer a more sustainable alternative laminate for the manufacture of recyclable electronics.
Jiva Materials Ltd is a start-up company based in Waterlooville that has developed and patented a novel natural fibre laminate called Soluboard to replace traditional glass fibre/epoxy laminate. This offers several advantages to users - a reduced carbon footprint and also the ability to recycle the boards at the end of life. Jiva has just completed a new round of funding to finance the further development and commercialisation of its products.
