We’re looking for a proactive and efficient administrator to join us and provide administrative and general programme support to our Seamless Student Journey programme. The programme aims to identify and deliver targeted initiatives to make sure our students have a seamless experience from pre-arrival to post-graduation. In this role you will report directly into the Programme Manager, delivering the support needed to maintain the efficient and effective running of the programme to completion.
The role
In this position, you will deal with all aspects of administrative support for the programme, including assisting with the creation of necessary paperwork for Programme Boards, arranging key meetings, diary management, minute taking, organisation of workshops, and collation and analysis of data. You’ll support the Programme Manager and key programme stakeholders by dealing with incoming queries and tasks in a professional, courteous, and timely manner, including proactively resolving unexpected challenges as they arise.
About you
We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and a proactive, customer-focused approach. You’ll have strong administrative skills and extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, Mail Merge, and PowerPoint. Personally, you’ll be flexible, agile, and able to respond to varying requirements and workloads, including being able to work at pace and intensity at times. You’ll be able to work independently, taking ownership for moving things forward to completion.
The ideal candidate will have some experience of the higher education sector enabling an understanding of the University and key stakeholders.
