Based within the Student Administration and Support Division of the Directorate of Student Experience and Enhancement, this post will provide a range of psychological and practical support for clinical students on placement experiencing emerging, complex and / or enduring mental health difficulties. This post plays a key role in responding to and supporting clinical students with mental health difficulties and works as part of a multidisciplinary team within Student Services.
You will support clinical students on placement to meet their outcomes and work with external agencies to ensure effective support and access to appropriate clinical pathways. You will take an early intervention approach and seek innovative approaches to mental health support working with academic and professional services across the University to develop a culture, which supports recovery and positive mental health.
This is a new role, and you will be joining existing specialist teams to deliver innovative mental health services to clinical students. We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of this exciting development opportunity.
You will have a degree (or equivalent) or relevant professional experience.
