The School of Science and Technology, which offers a wide range of courses at Bachelors and Masters level within its four departments, with its research being organized across 12 multi-disciplinary Research Centres. Responsibilities
RAMI Group as part of our Engineering Department is seeking to appoint on fixed term contract for 15 months (extendable depending on Performance and available budget) a Research Fellow in AI and Autonomous Systems. The fellow will develop and validate algorithms related to:
The Fellow will be on working on a prestigious research programs with funded by prestigious partners such as European Space Agency (ESA) and other industrial partners.
Person Specification
Applicants should hold a PhD (obtained or nearly finished) in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical) or Computer Science is required. Capability to carry out research on one or more of the following areas: Autonomous Vehicles, AI and Deep Learning, Vision based GNC, Robotics, Computer vision, Embedded and Realtime Systems is required.
