We are seeking a Software Developer to join the Microsoft Technologies Development team. Appointment as a Junior Software Developer is available for those candidates will less experience.

You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification) or have relevant equivalent experience. You should be a Software Developer, with significant practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power Platform and/or SharePoint. As part of a team of four, you will work with the Manager and Junior Software Developers to deliver solutions with the Power Platform and SharePoint, as well as supporting the institutional Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment.

You should possess good analytical skills, with the ability to extensively collaborate and interact with a broad range of people. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a requirement alongside strong time management and organisational skills.

You should have a background in software development, including familiarity with the full Software Development Lifecycle and awareness of project management methodologies (ideally Scrum). You should have demonstrable experience collaborating with customers and business representatives to understand complex business processes and preparing Requirements Specifications and designing solutions for consumption by customers and other developers. Experience implementing ALM solutions and utilising test-driven development is desirable.

In addition, you should have experience providing third-line support and maintaining existing applications.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6 salary scale (£37,099 - £44,263 per annum), and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience. In addition to the above salary, a market supplement of £10,000 per annum will be offered (equating to £47,099 - £54,263 per annum). The market supplement is subject to regular review.

Consideration will also be given to appointing a Junior Software Developer on the Grade 5 salary scale (£31,396 - £34,980 per annum).  Please see the Further Particulars for further information.

The Software Developer post is eligible for visa sponsorship.
