Role Details
We are seeking an interim Director of Content to provide academic leadership for Collaborative Provision (in the first instance) and then move on to general academic leadership at Director level (depending upon the requirements of the University). Our academic Directors hold a small teaching load, and you may also be asked to teach, depending upon your discipline and University teaching requirements.
It is essential to the role that you have experience in an academic leadership role, complemented by knowledge and experience of academic leadership in relation to collaborative provision. The ability to work with partners and colleagues in a sensitive and diplomatic manner is fundamental to the post, as are excellent organisation and management skills.
Working closely with the Associate Provost, you will also have a dotted line to the Provost & Deputy Vice-Chancellor for this value-creation stream. The post is key to successful delivery of the University's mission, strategy, and ambitions as a challenger institution.
Personalised education is what we do, and we believe that every student is unique and exceptional, so you’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and hold a strong interest in the student journey.
Interviews will likely be held at the end of October 2023.
