About the role
**This role can be based at the School of Museum Studies in Leicester or at the Science Museum in London, depending on preference and activities. Some hybrid working available**
In this role you will organise a public programme that encourages people to participate in historical research and raise awareness about the significance of UK-China creative collaborations in the past and present. You will support in the delivery of a series of public engagement events at the Science Museum, London to maximize research impact.
Working collaboratively, you will produce resources and events that explore and demonstrate the potential for public engagement that draws on the original research project.
About you
With experience of designing, organising and participation in research-led events, including as a facilitator, you will have the ability to manage evaluation in a museum setting. Experience of collaborating with external groups and diverse communities outside of the higher education sector is key, using your communication and interpersonal skills to enthuse and motivate others about the subject matter and your passion for it.
