Package: Research Teaching and Enterprise grade 8 from £64,914 to £73,039 per annum. Subject to annual pay award. In exceptional circumstances the University may offer a market supplement of up to 10% of the maximum salary quoted per annum.

The School of Science at Loughborough University undertakes world-leading research and teaching in Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Mathematics Education and boasts state-of-the-art facilities and an active research community.
We are currently recruiting for a Reader (Associate Professor) to join our school in Cyber Security.
Following a major investment in cyber security at Loughborough we are looking for talented people to join a highly ambitious group under the leadership of Professor Tim Watson. If you have practitioner experience in cyber security, have a passion for doing good work that makes a real-world difference and if you can contribute to both research and teaching then we're keen to hear from you.
Areas of focus include Cyber Resilience; Critical Infrastructure Protection; Defence and National Security; Vulnerability Research; Synthetic Environments and Data; AI Security.
Successful candidates will have a record of academic excellence which is contributing to the furtherance of knowledge in their discipline and which is recognised internationally. Candidates must also have a PhD or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate academic leadership, as well as a clear trajectory towards further achievement at a higher academic level.
