This is an exciting opportunity to develop an independent research group through a five-year research Fellowship. We are looking for a driven early-career researcher with a track record in biological sciences. Your research should complement our current portfolio (see  https://www.brookes.ac.uk/bms/research) but offer opportunities to expand our expertise.

Under this scheme, you will be provided with a 5-year research only post providing long-term, flexible support to develop an independent research career. We provide high-quality professional development and networking opportunities as well as competitive internal pump-priming and research funding and fully funded studentships.

Research in the department is supported by our Centres for Bioimaging and Functional Genomics which house cutting edge equipment. We are part of the Euro-bioimaging network and play an active role in University cross-departmental research networks.
