Who we need
We are seeking to appoint a Communication Support Worker to work with the Deaf Access Team at Nottingham College at a variety of college sites.
The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in British Sign Language (BSL) and have some experience of working in the post-16 environment. They must also have the ability to work flexibly within different curriculum areas, work as a team member and liaise with the Additional Learning Support Lecturer for Deaf Students and other CSWs and Educational Interpreters to ensure D/deaf students are supported.
This position requires excellent communication skills to facilitate and develop good working relationships with tutors, the wider Additional Learning Support Team and other college staff.
