The Courtauld Institute of Art is the UK’s leading institution for teaching and research into the History of Art and the conservation of paintings, and is also home to one of the finest small art museums in the world. The Courtauld is currently undergoing a capital transformation project that will make The Courtauld’s world-class artworks, research and teaching accessible to more people – in the UK and internationally.
The Research Forum Event Producer is responsible for facilitating and programming a wide variety of research activities at The Courtauld, including research seminars, workshops, conferences, public lectures and debates. You will also work collaboratively across teams at The Courtauld, on projects with internal stakeholders in Development, SAS, and other departments, and with external stakeholders, such as funders, co-organisers and contributors. You will be responsible for administering the Decolonising Action Groups and recruiting and managing the Student Event Assistant pool.
The Courtauld is looking for a skilled and experienced event administrator who is passionate about research and its dissemination. The Research Forum is seeking a well organised individual , with the ability to prioritise tasks, focus on detail, act on own initiative and work with minimal supervision, and under pressure to meet agreed deadlines. Experience in using Tessitura or similar ticketing and Client Management System system is required.
