Working with us as a Researcher - Energy House Labs
The Energy House Labs Research Assistant will be joining to become part of the Energy House Labs Team at the University of Salford. The successful applicant will be part of a rapidly growing team in the field of net zero and energy efficient homes, supporting the commercial and funded research programmes across the group. This will involve working on building performance and building physics problems ranging from small energy efficiency projects to whole building tests with major organisations. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a major growth area for the University with a potential to grow your skills and experience in delivering world-class research.
We are looking for someone who has a background in data analytics, with an understanding of Internet of Things and data acquisition. The candidate will have a background in data science, computer science, or engineering with a relevant degree or postgraduate qualification. We are industry-facing so experience of working in industry and/ or a higher education setting would be beneficial. We are a flexible team so we are looking for and candidate with excellent communication skills, a commitment to team working and a flexible approach that can deliver for the whole team.
Energy House Labs at the University of Salford has a growing international profile and is recruiting to grow. The unit runs across 4 labs and external fieldwork, running a wide variety of large and small projects focused on net zero homes and building performance.
