We are looking for a passionate and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of safety, health and welfare.

Reporting to the Business Support Manager and working with the Head of Department (HoD) and senior colleagues, you will provide expert advice on Health and Safety matters and will promote, oversee and monitor the implementation of University Health and Safety policies across IT Services.

As a Health and Safety Officer, you will play a vital role in protecting our employees from harm and ensuring that our workplace is a safe and healthy place to work. You will be a key member of our team, and you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our employees.

We are seeking candidates with a recognised NEBOSH Safety qualification, as well as significant experience in a H&S related role. As this role involves working across the department to develop and maintain a positive health and safety culture, you will also need strong leadership and influencing skills.
