The Marketing and Operations Department is seeking to appoint to an Assistant Professor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. This role is ideal for an academic who aspires to work in an environment that allows them to combine practical experience with contemporary approaches to theory to bring the best ideas to their students. We are interested in applicants with a PhD (or who have submitted and are waiting to VIVA) and experience of postgraduate and undergraduate teaching.
In terms of teaching the successful candidate will be required to contribute and lead a range of postgraduate (PG) and undergraduate (UG) teaching, learning and assessment activities across our various delivery modes including our three global campuses, approved learning partners and online. Experience with MBA students and online or distance-learning programmes would be an advantage as well as some professional experience. Courses to be delivered include Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Green and Sustainable Logistics and Global Purchasing and Supply.

The successful candidate should have a PhD in an appropriate discipline and possess sufficient breadth and depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline to provide leadership learning, research, portfolio development and industry engagement.
