Forming an integral part of the Faculty of Medicine’s Faculty Education Office, the Collaborative Partnerships team is responsible for the delivery of the faculty’s educational partnership activities. Imperial College Faculty of Medicine has a number of collaborations internationally and nationally. The largest of these are LKCMedicine, a collaboration with Nanyang Technological University and The Cumbria School of Medicine, a collaboration with the University of Cumbria.
Duties and responsibilities
For new partnerships, the Senior Teaching Fellow will be an integral part of the Academic team contributing to curriculum development, placements planning, the creation of teaching materials and establishment of assessment and monitoring process. You will learn about medical education in different countries and cultures and develop culturally appropriate learning materials. You will work with the Administration & Operations team to inform a robust and appropriate supporting infrastructure and will work as part of the overall Team, contributing to the smooth delivery of the project as a whole.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced clinical educators looking to broaden their experience through engagement with complex educational projects. While the role is primarily education focussed, opportunity will be provided to engage and develop broader business, project management and planning skills from the outset.
This role is full-time fixed term, 12 months post based in London, with some travel to the Cumbria campus expected.
