The University of Northampton is seeking an inspirational Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Science within an: Immunology, Microbiology or related Biomedical Science discipline. You will join a growing and collegiate team with an embedded culture of student-focused teaching and high impact research.
The post holder will be expected to deliver outstanding teaching across all levels of our expanding portfolio of undergraduate and taught Masters’ programmes. They will be responsible for curriculum delivery, and depending on the level of appointment, leadership of modules and design of teaching and learning.
We want you to be able to carry out your work in a way that best supports UON and our students, but also you as an individual. We understand this may vary between different areas of the university as well as from one person to another. You will have a proven background in a Biomedical Science related discipline and possess subject expertise to support infection, immunity or research methods teaching across our Life Science BSc programmes including Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Biological Science, and Pharmacology.
The successful candidate will be ICT literate and have experience in teaching and/or research in HE settings or be a registered BMS with a desire to pass on your knowledge. You will be highly disciplined, organised, supportive, and able to work collegiately within a team.
