The Opportunity

This post is an exciting opportunity to join the NIHR School for Primary Care Research (SPCR), a partnership between nine leading academic centres for primary care research in England. The SPCR’s main aim of increasing the evidence base for primary care practice, is achieved through high quality research and strategic leadership. 

The role will work with the School’s nine members and lead the communication and impact strategy for the SPCR. Liaison with external stakeholders is a crucial element of the role so you will be confident communicator. You will have excellent working knowledge of a range of social media and other communication channels. 

The successful candidate will be accomplished in synthesising research findings and creating case studies to show research impact. You will have significant experience of working in a communications role in a large complex organisation with multiple stakeholders, preferably in a higher education setting.
