About the role

Bloc Digital, in collaboration with The University of Derby’s College of Business, Law and Social Sciences, are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Manager as part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme.

Our vision at Bloc Digital is to innovate, explore and shape what's next within the immersive environment. To do this, we need a diverse set of the very best people and an environment where they can thrive. Although we have worked hard to create a great environment at Bloc Digital, we're keen to continue to improve.

Therefore, we are seeking a highly talented individual to lead this project to build a talent management strategy that is right for our people, our culture and our values. This will help us significantly with recruitment of new employees, employee development, performance and retention.

This is a multi-faceted role, therefore, we are looking for an individual who is capable of working with others to facilitate change in this interesting setting, taking into consideration the fast-paced nature of technology companies. A fast learner with the calibre to engage and persuade internal and external stakeholders and embed business changes will be ideal.

The project recognises that the successful candidate may not have all the required skills or experience, therefore, there is a personal development budget of £4,000 for further training and career development.

There is a travel and subsistence budget of £3,000 to attend any relevant events, conferences, workshops that would enable you to excel in the role.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

This full-time post is part-funded by the UK Government’s KTP programme. A KTP is a three-way project between a graduate, an organisation and a university. KTP is one of the UK’s largest graduate recruitment programmes and has been placing graduates on challenging, high profile projects for almost 45 years. Whilst you will be employed by University of Derby, your terms and conditions will be that of Bloc Digital.
