About the school

The school of business, computing, and social science is located across three campuses within Cheltenham and Gloucester which provide inspiring learning and teaching environments. This post will be based in our £18 million purpose-built school at Oxstalls Campus which is home to state-of-the-art technology, collaborative learning spaces and a dynamic team of educators.

The school's strategic aims are founded in social justice and delivered through creative and innovative teaching and the development of external relationships. We pride ourselves on our support for students and aiding students in their employability and personal growth, through innovative pedagogy developments and real-world engagements in our programmes.

Law is part of Business School which is focused on producing career ready graduates and carrying out high quality research. We bring together excellent teaching, evidenced by outstanding NSS results. Our law students gain experience beyond the classroom through opportunities to participate in internships, Client Interviewing, Mooting, and our student Law Clinic.

About the role 

We are looking to appoint a new member of staff in the law subject area to join our dynamic, successful, and expanding community. We are looking for applications who have experience of teaching in Higher Education and have an interest in research within a law context. 

You should have ability to cover the fundamentals of law and it would be desirable that they have an expertise in international and cyber law. Teaching across all levels of the curriculum we are particularly keen to hear from those with postgraduate experience. There would also be an expectation that you would engage with initiatives beyond the classroom, where appropriate, to support colleagues and enhance student experience.
