The University of Glasgow has been changing the world for more than 571 years, and today we are one of the world's top 100 universities. We are delighted to have risen in the Times Higher Education World University rankings for the 2nd year in a row climbing up 6 places. Our people have always been at the forefront of innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers.
A fantastic, new, opportunity has arisen for an Analyst/Programmer to join the Information Services IT Team to design, develop, test and implement enhancements to existing bespoke software solutions as well as building new user-friendly, high-quality software solutions based on user requirements and analysis of business logic primarily for the College of Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences (MVLS) within the University.
We are looking for an experienced full stack C# ASP.NET MVC developer with ASP.NET Core skills that will be able to develop and support existing applications within the MVLS College. The scope of work will include everything from requirements gathering, back-end development and client-side code using optimal and efficient technologies, frameworks, and patterns. Your primary responsibilities will be to scope, design and develop these applications, therefore it’s essential that you are skilled at requirement gathering, problem solving, solution design, and high-quality coding.
