UEA’s Research and Innovation Service are looking to recruit an Initial Client Contact Officer (ICCO) for Student Enterprise. The service provides support and resources to help students and graduates turn their ideas, passions, and talents into business realities. Based within EnterpriseCentral on the UEA campus, you will deliver a welcoming and professional first point of enquiry and provide high quality, flexible administrative support to the Student Enterprise Officers. 

If successful, you will support the enterprise team through diary and appointment management, drafting documents and reports, maintaining existing relationships and researching potential collaborators which could benefit the service. The role will require excellent communication and time-management skills. 

The role is student facing with an expectation that you will promote our enterprise services and support to engage potential entrepreneurs amongst our students and graduates including delivering information sessions and initial fact-finding appointments. 

You must have two A levels at grades A-E, and five GCSE passes at grades A-C (including Mathematics and English), or equivalent qualifications or equivalent level of experience. In addition, you will have recent experience of working in a busy customer facing and administrative role, well developed organisational skills, be an effective team worker and the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a calm manner. You will be expected to satisfy all essential criteria outlined in the person specification.

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
