About the role:

The UK FIRES project is developing data-driven models of material flows within UK industry. We are seeking a research assistant to review, edit and document the model structure and parameters underlying this work.

This will involve:

  • systematically reviewing and summarising the modelling work that has been completed
  • writing documentation and explanation of the model structure
  • helping to create data visualisations of the model outputs
  • contributing to research outputs such as journal articles.

Depending on your expertise there may be opportunities to contribute also to the substance of the model in specific areas, sectors, or technical processes.

This position is available on a full-time basis, fixed term from 1st April 24 - 30th November 24.
