Legal Administrator

JOB DECRIPTION

Bath Spa University is seeking a Legal Administrator to provide professional, proactive, high- level administrative support to its Legal Services Team. 

About the Role

Manage inboxes, diary, and work schedules. Maintain Team logs, diarise key dates and set reminders and chase stakeholders to ensure that statutory deadlines are met. Respond to client enquiries, providing information on routine matters and channelling other matters to the relevant person. Deal proactively and effectively with incoming and outgoing correspondence to provide outstanding customer service, whilst handling highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.  Acknowledge receipt of requests for information/data, source the information required to respond from internal stakeholders and prepare draft responses. Coordinate & maintain documents, registers, records. Provide comprehensive and high-quality support for strategic project work. Draft, review, edit, redact & proofread various documents and produce, source and analyse material/information with meticulous attention to detail. 

About You 

Excellent organisational, interpersonal, administrative, and IT skills. A high degree of initiative with proven ability to evaluate and improve processes and resolve issues at all levels. Excellent written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to prioritise work and manage competing priorities. Demonstrates professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information and issues. Effective team player, willing to support other colleagues.
