The Role
Gonville & Caius College is seeking a Communications Officer to play a key role in delivering College communications, with specific communications responsibility for alumni publications and specific fundraising events, such as Giving Day.
This is a great opportunity for a creative individual, who is equally at home with digital and social as well as traditional print communications.
The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, stimulated by a varied role. Working closely with the Head of Communications, the post holder will lead on alumni communications, including as Editor of Once a Caian… magazine. The post-holder will also work closely with colleagues in the Development Office and the Editor of the College record.
Educated to degree level, the ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as exceptional writing skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Good artistic and technical skills in photography and video would be an advantage.
Salary for the full-time role (37.5 hrs) is £26,450. Part-time hours would be considered.
