Lecturer - Carpentry

Our Construction team based at Bedford College have an excellent opportunity for a Carpentry Lecturer.

As a Carpentry Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

• preparing, delivering and assessing subject specialisms on a range of courses, specifically focussing on Carpentry/Joinery to Level 3
• undertaking course administration as necessary
• leading and contributing to curriculum developments within the Programme Area/Centre

Our ideal candidates will have experience as a teacher/trainer in an FE environment, alongside the following qualifications:

• Level 3 Carpentry
• Cert Ed/PGCE or equivalent
• Good standard of general education

Contract Type - Bedford College

• 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
• 45 days per annum (plus public holidays), pro rata for part-time
