About the Role

Responsible for the day-to-day management of WBS social media channels and content, working across a variety of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and X. The role holder will work as an expert advising the WBS marketing team and ambassadors, to create and implement compelling content and deliver organic and paid social media tactical plans to support student recruitment, raise the profile of the WBS brand, campus and our research impact. They will provide analytics, guidelines and insight to enable Warwick Business School to continuously improve and work with programme marketing teams on creating blog, podcast and email content where required.

About You

We are recruiting two talented Digital Communications Executive (Social Media) to develop and implement thumb-stopping campaigns and content that supports student recruitment and experience and raises the profile of our brand, campus and research.

If you are creative, passionate about social media, online trends and creating compelling content this is the role for you! You’ll meet and build relationships with staff and students from our diverse community of changemakers.

You should love working across social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X. Sourcing and creating content and analysing, testing, evolving and improving digital campaigns to attract and engage are essential parts of these newly created roles.

The successful candidates will schedule content, monitor, respond to interactions, drive positive sentiment and amplify content to build followers and engagement. They will also recruit and work closely with student ambassadors and content creators and facilitate takeovers of social channels.

A key part of the role is delivering and optimising paid media plans in conjunction with our media buying agency, so experience in this area is highly desired.

The post holder must have digital marketing/social media experience having worked in either an integrated marketing function or agency previously.

They will have excellent planning, communication, organisational and evaluation skills as well as lots of ideas about what content works well online. The varied nature of this role means the post holder must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to write well, with accuracy and attention to detail is also essential.
