Grade 7 Research Associate £37,099 to £45,585 per annum pro-rata with the potential to progress to £49,794 pa
Grade 8 Research Fellow £46,974 to £56,021 per annum pro-rata with the potential to progress to £63,029 pa
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly-motivated individual who is pursuing a career in evidence synthesis as a result of the extension and expansion of our National Institute of Health and Care Research Evidence Synthesis Centres.
Your role will include systematic reviewing, development of review protocols, leading or contributing to multidisciplinary project teams and dissemination of findings in peer-reviewed journals and scientific conferences. You will also be given opportunities to contribute to grant applications for research and knowledge exchange funding, teaching and supervision of dissertation students.
The primary role will be conducting on demand systematic reviews and rapid evidence synthesis products. You will also be encouraged to develop methods for evidence synthesis as well as undertaking applied work. You will disseminate research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and communicate to diverse non-expert stakeholders and policy makers. Those appointed to Grade 8 would be expected to take leadership and management roles and to demonstrate an interest in supporting our strategies for dissemination or patient and public involvement. You must have a Masters degree in a research-oriented subject, or equivalent experience.
