Applications are invited for the above post based within the School of Biosciences at the Sutton Bonington Campus, providing a comprehensive stores provision to staff, research students and other approved users.
The role holder will be part of a wider technical team that contribute to provide high-quality, wide-ranging technical support for Research and Teaching laboratories and facilities based in the School of Biosciences.
The role holder will be supported by technical colleagues and will play a key part in the day-to-day work arrangements and requirements within the School’s Central Stores, ensuring equipment and consumables are received and dispatched, whilst adhering to strict safety and auditing compliance required by the University and government bodies. The role holder may also have duties working as part of a wider school.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of Health and Safety. Practical appreciation/experience of hazards in a scientific stores environment is desirable.
This role is available on a fixed term contract for a period of 1 year. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours). Job share arrangements may be considered.
