We are currently recruiting for a Timetabling and Examinations Manager to join the Directorate of Registry and Student Administration. Reporting into the Head of Registry, the successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and operational delivery of the academic timetable and examinations service. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Create long-term sustainable strategic and operational approaches to delivering a student-centric timetabling and examinations system, aimed at enhancing student attainment and engagement. 
  • Ensure the effective administration of the annual examinations lifecycle, including the creation of the examinations timetable, coordination and management of invigilators and overseas examinations. 
  • Project manage and identify areas of improvement to enhance quality and delivery. 
  • Provide leadership in translating the University’s strategic goals to the team. 

Essential Criteria:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in timetabling or scheduling.
  • Experience of managing and measuring the effective delivery of a large volume of examinations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Track record in leading the planning and implementation of complex and long-term strategies and projects.
