The University of London Careers Service is recruiting a Careers Consultant to work with our distance and flexible learning students and our postgraduate research students based at the School of Advanced Study. We are looking to hire one full time post.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative Careers team. As a University of London Careers Consultant, you will work in collaboration with the wider University of London Careers Service team, University of London colleagues, our member institutions and internationally-based affiliated Teaching Centres, to design and deliver the highest possible standard of careers and employability support to our students and clients
The Career Stage Framework informs the work of the ULCS Careers Consultants in the design, delivery and evaluation of the virtual and global careers and employability provision for our students, which enables our clients to acquire the skills and resources necessary to plan and manage their careers and to secure appropriate employment or further study
University of London Careers Consultants also collaborate with colleagues from across The Careers Group (TCG) on activities that enhance the quality and effectiveness of our services.
We are looking for candidates who have experience within Higher Education careers and employability services and have a relevant qualification in careers guidance or coaching.

Interviews and assessment activities will take place on Wednesday 8 May 2024. Panel interview and assessment activities are planned to take place virtually.
The University will be unable to sponsor candidates for a visa for this role. Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK for the duration of their employment.
The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office. Typically, the majority of employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.
