The Role 

We are seeking a Head of Curriculum and Quality Support to support the growth of Human Resource courses and apprenticeships delivered in partnership with our network of UK colleges and training providers. 

Alongside internal operational responsibilities, the Head of Curriculum and Quality Support - Human Resources will be the main point of contact for partner delivery teams in the launch and delivery of accredited management and Human Resources courses and apprenticeships at levels 3 and 5. 

Key Responsibilities 

You will be expected to: 

  • Review learner progress and achievement on an ongoing basis 
  • Support tutors on the best use of our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and offer guidance and solutions to problems as they arise 
  • Deliver tutor training sessions for partners on the best use of Mindful Education programmes 
  • Respond to tutor queries and make campus visits when necessary 
  • Draft, discuss and agree delivery calendars for the Human Resource courses and apprenticeships with partners 
  • Deliver learner induction sessions 
  • Monitor and respond to tutor and learner feedback to continually improve the learning experience  
  • Attend internal and external progress updates and team meetings to agree operational needs as well as share best practice 
  • Understand and articulate how Mindful Education solutions map to the published professional body learning outcomes, assessment criteria, and relevant apprenticeship standards 
  • Keep abreast of awarding organisation and IfATE development and updates, including attending relevant events and webinars 
  • Interact and work alongside colleagues within the Academic, Creative and Digital teams 
  • Undertake other duties as reasonably expected 

Skills and Experience 

You must possess: 

  • CIPD qualification at level 5 or above 
  • Experience teaching Human Resources programmes at level 5 or above in a funded and regulated environment  
  • Experience assessing Human Resources learning content at level 5 or above 
  • Experience operating within external and internal quality assurance policies and procedures 
  • Strong command of written English and an ability to present information concisely and effectively 
  • Confidence to work independently and fit into a collaborative process 
  • Ability to communicate across different stakeholder groups, including managers, curriculum leaders, tutors and learners 
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service 
  • Group presentation skills and experience 
  • Highly organised working style, with a strong attention to detail and an ability to set and prioritise tasks 
  • Capacity to work within time-sensitive schedules and to deadlines 
  • Confident working with spreadsheets and management information systems. 

Desirable: 

  • Member of CIPD 
  • Experience with virtual learning platforms 
  • Experience with collaborative software such as Google docs, Hubspot, etc
