About the Role
This post is responsible for ensuring that all events within the School of Politics and International Relations are effectively project managed. This includes the management of event costs and the budget management process for the programme of events and ad-hoc events.
About You
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent experience. You will have experience of Events Management, project management, including proven ability to act independently with well versed and knowledgeable on the Events Industry, Industry trends and practices.

The School of Politics and International Relations is a vibrant, collegial intellectual community including scholars from a range of disciplinary and methodological perspectives. It is home to a highly diverse cohort of students and offers a broad-ranging and methodologically plural curriculum in the fields of Politics and International Relations.
The School is located within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, which comprises eight Schools that deliver the research and education activity of the Faculty. The role sits within the Professional Services job family and the role holder is expected to be an active part of the University’s support staff family, working with academic colleagues across a wide range of responsibilities to help deliver its academic mission.
