We have an exciting opportunity in the School of English for someone with a passion for teaching and research and an interest in the History of English. You will use your skills to make an impact on our undergraduate students.
You will join the team in our large and diverse School. The team you will work with is well-connected; we are well-known internationally for our research, and we have a significant and active postgraduate cohort. Working alongside the existing team, you will have the opportunity to develop further skills in teaching History of English (specifically Old English and Middle English) and related modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Educated to postgraduate level, you will have (or be close to completing) a PhD in the History of English or a cognate area. As you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, evidence of teaching ability is essential.
