About the Role
For informal enquiries, please contact the Visitor Experience Team at visitorexperience@warwick.ac.uk.
Warwick Arts Centre is looking for passionate, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic Visitor Experience Assistants to join the team.
We believe that the arts are an extraordinary source of wisdom, support, connection, understanding, joy, and inspiration for every one of us. It’s our job to bring art into more people’s lives and our Visitor Experience Assistants are integral to helping us reach, and connect with, more people in new ways.
About You
As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you will be responsible for working across all visitor services areas, whilst ensuring a safe environment is maintained. You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure the safe and smooth running of all events, responding promptly and appropriately in the event of an unplanned situation. You will be knowledgeable and approachable in order to assist visitors with queries or signposting in auditoria’s, at the box office front desk and foyer spaces. From checking tickets, to invigilating artwork, to selling snacks, drinks, ice cream and merchandise; you will undertake a variety of tasks, interacting with a range of audiences. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself within the arts, working across our 4 performance spaces, 3 cinemas and Mead Gallery.
Please note: this role requires frequent evening, weekend, and bank holiday working. Shifts are allocated and planned around our live programme and building activities. Hours will be annualised across term time, and there is no fixed working pattern.
