Key Information
Salary: Appointments are normally made at the starting salary, however comparable skills and experience will be considered. Future progression is based on annual performance review.
Duration of Contract: Fixed Term for 24 months
Hours per week: 35 hours per week (Full Time)
Location: The base of the Business and Innovation Office is in Sutton, but team members sometimes also work from our site in Chelsea. This role is eligible for hybrid working and our team work 2 days per week on site.

Job Details
As a Contracts Manager within the Business and Innovation Office, you will provide a professional and efficient contracts service to academics and professional services colleagues across the whole of ICR; negotiating and concluding a variety of contract types to enable ICR’s clinical trials, research, services and commercialisation. You will also provide contractual advice and supervision to more junior members of the team.
In this role you will interact with multiple interfacing groups such as business development, information governance, research support and clinical trials operational teams, and you will represent ICR externally in negotiations with a variety of third parties.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate must be educated to degree level or equivalent, and have an understanding and knowledge of contract law and contractual issues.
You should have direct experience of negotiating with external partners through working in either a research contracts team, research development, business development, research support, research funding or similar role.
