- THE ROLE -
This role provides a great opportunity for an experienced professional to be a part of the Centre for Quality Enhancement. The Quality Enhancement Manager is a dedicated leader who specialises in quality assurance and enhancement. They will lead on development, management and review of the University policies and processes relating to quality to ensure standards are consistently met across all levels and modes of the Ulster University programmes and support the achievement of the University’s strategic objectives as defined on the People, Place and Partnerships pages of our website.
Working in association with the Head of Quality Enhancement, the postholder will ensure that the University is fully compliant with both the external and internal quality assurance requirements. They will identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for change. With excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, they will be able to form good working relationships at all levels and influence senior stakeholders (internal and external). They will contribute to both the strategic actions and operational plans across the Learning Enhancement Directorate based in the University Portfolio for Academic Quality and Student Experience.
- ABOUT YOU -
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Extensive employment experience in a role involving substantial report writing, formal committee servicing, and supervision, management and training of staff.
- Experience of working effectively in a professional advisory role with designated managerial/professional responsibility for the formulation, review and development and implementation of policy and procedures.
