You’ll join a close-knit group of academics who are behind a varied programme of research-led teaching, workshops, seminars and forward-thinking studies that equip the workforce of the future.
You will plan, deliver and assess clinical skills and simulation across all fields of pre-registration nursing this provision includes using a variety of technologies and approaches to deliver a vibrant education to your students that can be translated into real-world skills. Teaching facilities in academic and practice provision are excellent and our clinical skills centre is state of the art.

Working side-by-side with talented colleagues you’ll share knowledge and expertise through professional consultancy, pursuing opportunities that will generate profitable income and supporting students with valuable placements wherever possible.
The Person
You will be a registered mental health nurse and you may bring with you a recognised teaching or learning qualification. On a personal level, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional clinical skills teaching, simulation and support to our students will be your core motivation. You will use your experience of working in nursing to promote integrated professional practice across everything you do, imparting practical professional knowledge to students that they will take with them in their future careers.
Constantly seeking to improve, you will scrutinise your own work, build private and public sector networks, and work collaboratively to enhance the faculty’s reputation in higher education and occupational circles.
By the end of your probation period, you must have achieved the relevant level of UKPSF recognition (if this has not already been obtained).
