We currently have a vacancy for a Relief Receptionist to provide cover 3 Reception points at the Talbot and Lansdowne Campuses, working in some of our flagship new buildings in a dynamic and varied environment.
The role is offered on an annualised hours basis for 350 hours to cover periods of absence through annual leave or sickness in the Reception Team. Whilst some cover periods will be identified in advance, a level of flexibility is required to be able to cover short notice absences.
We welcome staff, students and visitors from all over the world and you will play an important role in delivering a professional and excellent customer service experience to to everyone coming on site. You will specifically be responsible for helping people to navigate around our campuses and buildings, receiving visitors, undertaking switchboard duties, assisting with access control enquiries, reporting any security issues and dealing with Reception/Front of House enquiries.
It is a great opportunity to use and develop communication and customer service skills in dealing with volumes of people and queries and in multi-tasking, in a busy environment and as part of a dedicated team.
This is a uniformed position and branded clothing will be supplied. The post will be rotated between the Talbot and Lansdowne Campuses. Working time will be either 0800 to 1630 or 0830 to 1700 depending on which Reception point the postholder is allocated to for the week.
