A short-term post is available for a highly skilled microscopist and T Cell Biologist to work in the Griffiths Laboratory at the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research from October 1st 2024 - 31st March 2025. The successful candidate must hold a PhD and needs to be skilled in high-resolution live cell imaging of primary cytotoxic T lymphocytes expressing multiple fluorophores and appropriate image processing programmes for analysis. The successful candidate will have supervised and be able to train others. They will have an in-depth knowledge of cell biology and immunology and be able to carry out functional assays for CTLs. This post will also require support for laboratory management and microscopy and experience in this area is essential.
The Cambridge Institute for Medical Research (CIMR) is located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and it is a collaborative institute at the interface between fundamental research and the clinic, with a mission to determine the molecular mechanisms of disease in order to advance human health.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 March 2025 in the first instance.
