The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching and delivery of the Biomedical Sciences/Medical Biology, undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes, including the academic and personal support of students. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the Biomedical Sciences/Medical Biology Programmes.
Professional Membership/Registration registration is an desirable requirement for this role along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. A commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the Higher Education Academy is an essential requirement of the role.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Biomedical Sciences Education as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the Professional sector.
