Our dedicated team of staff provide support and signposting on a wide variety of emotional and practical issues, from issues living with others, behaviour management, homesickness, general wellbeing, engagement with meaningful social activity and connecting students to the services offered by the wider University
About you: You will be working as part of a team to provide administrative and clerical service with specific functions within residential lettings, including the allocation and operation of University managed Accommodation, giving advice on financial and contractual matters.
This is a full-time role post of 37 hours; The post holder will be working in conjunction with another team member to cover 2 shift patterns and will also be expected to work alternative Saturdays to help us deliver a good service for the students.
Some weekend and evening work will be required during the main allocation period and student arrival times, including Clearing, Welcome Weekend and Marketing Events (Open Days and Applicant days). Prior notice will be given.
Where is this role based?
The post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed. However, travel to other campuses and nominated accommodation buildings will be necessary.

The postholder is required to be available to work out of standard office hours and weekend work will be required.

UWE Bristol is a campus-based University, this role is therefore campus based for all of your time.
The University’s normal practice is that new appointments will be made at the starting point of the grade.
