We are seeking a talented, motivated, and experienced Rankings and Recognition Manager to join our vibrant University community. The role, which is newly created, reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications, and will play a key part in ensuring the University is properly represented in national and international league tables, while also enhancing the reputation and recognition of our academics and researchers, professional staff, and supporters – and, thereby, that of the University as a whole – through a range of high-profile prizes, awards and honours.

The role
As the Rankings and Recognition Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert support to the Executive Board in driving the University's rankings performance and securing prestigious awards and honours for our faculty and staff. Key responsibilities will include:
About you
We’re looking for someone with a passion for identifying excellence and a desire to help our researchers, academics, and professional staff receive the recognition they deserve. You’ll be ambitious, with the drive to help the University of Surrey achieve appropriate rankings in national and international league tables.
An excellent communicator, you’ll be comfortable translating complex subjects into language accessible to a wider audience. You’ll work effectively with individuals at all levels, establishing credibility with staff and key stakeholders across the organisation including forming business partnering relationships with the Vice-Chancellor, Provost, and other key members of the Executive Board.
