21.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year and 15.5 hours per week, 12 weeks per year
We are seeking a committed individual to join the Library Shelving Team, based within the Customer Services division of Computing and Library Services. Duties will include supervising the Library shelving operation, and assisting in the delivery of front-line customer support.
You will have experience of working in a busy service environment, supervising staff, dealing with customers and handling enquiries. You will also have a good working knowledge of common computer applications including the Microsoft Office suite. Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent qualifications), it is essential that you possess excellent organisational and communication skills, and a strong customer focus.
Hours of work are:
40 weeks @ 21.5 hours per week, Mon 9:00-4:00, Tues, Wed, Thurs 9:00-2:00 (30 mins lunch every day).
12 weeks @ 15.5 hours per week, Mon & Tues 9:30-3:30 (30 mins lunch), Wednesday 10:00-2:30.
