About the role
The Accessible Resources Acquisition and Creation Unit (ARACU) of the Bodleian Libraries, Research and Learning Support seeks to recruit an Administrative and Resources Assistant to join our friendly, small team, helping disabled students meet their educational objectives. The ARACU team is located in nature-rich Osney Mead, Oxford and is responsible for creating and supplying alternative formats to print-disabled students.
With guidance from the ARACU Administrator, you will search online for materials, scan and edit alternative formats and send to users, communicate with libraries and publishers to acquire materials for users, and assist volunteers in the use of scanning equipment.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 36.5 hours per week. Some remote working may be possible after training, up to 1 day per week by agreement with line manager.
