The Role
We are looking to appoint an experienced client side senior project manager to join our Estates and Property team.
This is an exciting time to join the Capital Projects team as we start on the delivery of the University’s Estates Strategy and improving our estates infrastructure to provide a high quality and sustainable campus.
You will have a construction related degree or equivalent professional qualification in Surveying, Architecture, Engineering or Project Management.
You will have proven success in delivering multiple complex projects within a similar Higher Education estate environment. Projects will include but not limited to major development and refurbishment works in and around listed buildings and/or in an urban setting exceeding £40M in value.
A working knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and construction legislation would be essential.
You will have strong organisational, time-management and communication skills driven by commitment to delivering a great service. You will prioritise and manage a high volume of work effectively.
